'''Circuit de la Sarthe''' (also known as the '''24 Heures du Mans race track''' in GT7) is a real world circuit featured in Gran Turismo 4, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 6, Gran Turismo Sport, and Gran Turismo 7. It is located just south of the town of Le Mans in northern France, and is the home of the ''24 Heures du Mans''. It has gone through several layout changes in its history over a century. The most notable of which was when chicanes were added to the 5,7 km long Mulsanne Straight in 1990, when speeds of then-current race cars such as the Peugeot P88 and the Sauber C9 started to exceed 400 km/h. It is made available with two layouts; with and without the Mulsanne chicanes.
